This children’s clothing brand was averaging around $7K per month in revenue when they came to us. Within two months of working together, they had a $48K week. Here’s how it happened.
The setup: they had a late shipment of Father’s Day products arrive and needed to move roughly 3,000 hats and other apparel fast — within about a week. We launched a focused Facebook and Instagram campaign to do exactly that.
Results of Facebook Ads After One Week
The campaign generated $48,773.30 in revenue from $15,212.19 in ad spend — a 3.21X ROAS over seven days.
Of the $15K spent on Facebook and Instagram ads, more than $13K was targeting cold traffic — new or potential customers who had never purchased before. The remaining spend was retargeting warm audiences (previous customers and people who had already engaged with the brand online).
Adset and Audience Targeting
Within the cold traffic campaigns, we used a mix of interest-based audiences and lookalike audiences — audiences Facebook creates that mirror the characteristics of people who have already purchased from or engaged with the client’s business. We A/B tested combinations and horizontally scaled the winners.
Several factors made this campaign work as well as it did: seasonal timing (Father’s Day), a distinctive and eye-catching product, strong creative that showed the product clearly, and well-defined demographic targeting. By the end of that month, revenue had climbed to around $80K — roughly 10x what the brand had been doing the year before.
The Winning Carousel Ad
The single best-performing ad in this campaign was a carousel format. That one ad alone was responsible for generating $36,505.71 in revenue while maintaining a 3.5X return on ad spend.
Carousels work especially well for apparel and product-heavy brands because they let you show multiple SKUs or angles in a single ad unit. Each card can be tailored to a specific product or benefit, and the format tends to get strong engagement from people who are already interested in the category.
